Membership and Affiliation with Lifeforming Leadership Coaching

Alumni

Alumni status is automatically conferred upon all graduates of the ACT Program as well as the Formation Program and subsequent Professional Program courses.  There are no fees and Alumni status does not expire.

Alumni benefits include:

  • Coaching community blog and events
  • Annual conference

Coaching and Coach Training Work through the Lifeforming Office

Coaching Work

As we receive requests for personal coaches we search the database of our coaches and will send the contact info of the person asking about coaching to the selected coach.  We choose coaches based on the following criteria:

  1. We consider only graduates of the Professional Program
  2. We match the specific requests from the potential client (i.e. gender, professional background, etc)
  3. We follow a rotation based on the date of the last referral we sent to you (those who have just been offered referrals will be passed over for an equally qualified candidate who has had a longer wait since their last referral)

Coach Training Work

Only those who have completed the Coach Trainer Track (for those who take it in the new format this includes both Sections 1 and 2) are eligible for training ACT Programs.  Training projects are generated in two basic ways: the headquarters finds and cultivates an opportunity or a coach trainer finds and cultivates an opportunity.  Coaches who are not Coach Trainers who find and cultivate an opportunity should notify the central office of that opportunity and will be paid a finder’s fee when the opportunity bears fruit.

Trainer Initiated Training Opportunities

Those trainers who create their own training opportunities will be given the chance to do the training for those situations.  They do not have to do it, but if they and the potential trainees are agreeable then we are happy to contract them to be the trainer.  At that point we issue a contract for that project to the trainer.  The trainees sign up for the training through the central office and we send them their materials.  The office and the trainer contracted to do the work collaborate to provide administrative clarity and management to the training (i.e. bridgeline schedules, workshop details, etc).

Lifeforming Leadership Coaching Initiated Training Those training opportunities that Lifeforming Headquarters generates are handled similarly to Trainer Initiated Training opportunities, except for the process of selecting the trainer.  First, Lifeforming Headquarters will send out a description of the project to our list of trainers.  Those interested have a window of time (typically 2 weeks) to reply and indicate interest in being considered for that project.  The office will choose a trainer from that list of interested trainers.

The selection of the trainer uses the following criteria:

  1. Matching the specific requests from the potential ACT group/organization (i.e. male, church planting experience, etc)
  2. Skill/experience as a coach trainer*
  3. The date of the last project offered to the trainers (those who have just been offered projects will be passed over for an equally qualified candidate who has had a longer wait since their last referral)

*The skill and experience of a trainer is determined by two criteria:

  1. The recorded feedback from their previous trainees and from their coach trainer.
  2. Discretion of the Director of Training (this is used in cases where a trainer has little recorded feedback to work from)

EXTENDED COACHING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Upon graduating from Lifeforming’s Professional Track all coaches are authorized to work with individuals using the tools and techniques acquired through their Professional Training.  If a Professional Coach wishes to train others to become a coach he or she must complete Lifeforming’s Coach Training Tracks. 

The following business associations with Lifeforming provide an opportunity for people who have a special affiliation with their community and wish to use Lifeforming Headquarters to assist with administration, marketing, and coaching resources.  Also, people who wish acquire a license to market Lifeforming or to establish a joint venture business with Lifeforming are afforded this opportunity as described by the paragraphs below.

Any of the business associations below can also obtain “First-in-Country” status by establishing a Lifeforming business office in a country where Lifeforming determines that there is merit for to doing business in that country.  All business associations carry with them a 20% discount on Lifeforming training courses to assist a business candidate with obtaining the proper Lifeforming certification.

Commissioned Representative

A Commissioned Representative is Lifeforming’s first level of authorization to do paid coaching and/or coach training work using the marketing efforts of the Lifeforming Leadership Coaching office.  A Commissioned Representative may also conduct training based on his or her own marketing efforts.  The Commissioned Representative is an independent contractor who receives a percentage of the fees collected from every trainee who completes a training course.  Lifeforming will use part of the revenue from the Commissioned Representative’s sales to fund the marketing necessary to pursue more opportunities for the Commissioned Representative.  As Lifeforming finds those opportunities, which range from individuals looking for one-on-one coaching to companies pursuing key leadership team training, the Commissioned Representative is responsible for coordinating events and delivering the training.  The Commissioned Representative may draw from Lifeforming’s pool of Coach Trainers to augment coaching requests. 

Lifeforming will provide access to its intellectual property for standard use or pre-approved customization of Lifeforming’s marketing material.  The Commissioned Representatives Agreement stipulates specific requirements for modification or delivery of material and adherence to Lifeforming’s methods and processes.

Licensee

The Licensee program plays a key role in building coaching relationships at the institutional level.  To ensure a licensed candidate completely understands Lifeforming principles, values, and objectives a Licensee must first complete all Lifeforming training tracks including the Coach Trainer tracks. 

Lifeforming promotes the common interests of Licensee’s by contributing to their field coaching education, helping to improve their role as a Licensee, awarding the Licensee Point of Sale rights, and encouraging advancements in standards of coaching practice.

Lifeforming provides management, joint-solution methods integration, joint marketing, and go-to-market tools and support so Licensee’s can embrace and extend Lifeforming’s unique market strength, global presence, brand recognition and worldwide marketing channels. Lifeforming believes its Licensee program provides a huge opportunity to leverage the Lifeforming brand to extend their market reach.  There is no investment required of a Licensee however as with a Commissioned Representative the Licensee will be awarded a percentage of all sales generated.  The Licensee’s award also includes a percentage of sales generated by the Licensee’s trainees.

Partner

A partner is a person or organization affiliated with Lifeforming who has completed all the criteria for Licensee status and also adheres to stringent criteria for excellence as a supplier of Lifeforming coaching solutions by committing to strategic and technical alignment with Lifeforming. Lifeforming has constructed the Partner program around the belief in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others. Partners form a fellowship world-wide for mutual benefit and contribution to Lifeforming’s future.  This program is intended for those who have significant influence in their community and can foster a long term coaching movement.  Partner status is awarded by invitation only and requires a financial investment by the partner.  Return On Investment is based on a Partner’s revenue creation and that of the Partner’s trainees who complete the training and generate revenue from their sale of Lifeforming training to new clients.

Lifeforming dedicates resources to work directly with Partners to develop and support joint customer engagements and to engage in customized go to market activities on a global scale.  

Partners expand coaching markets through joint coaching solutions with Lifeforming, drive significant revenue opportunities, and deliver Partner customized and comprehensive coaching to enterprises worldwide.
